The Dirt

The star of the show at Rodgers Vineyards is the dirt. Our highly varied soil compositions were shaped from intermingling materials resulting from a variety of influencing factors, such as gravel, sand and silt descended from the western Mayacamas; tectonic plate movement; volcanic activity; and the shifting Napa River. We celebrate our dirt and the superlative grapes it produces.
